In 2009, Patek Philippe introduced its own quality hallmark: the Patek Philippe Seal. Unlike the Geneva Seal, which only applies to movements made in the canton of Geneva and focuses on finishing standards, the Patek Seal encompasses the entire watch — movement, case, dial, and after-sales service.

This internal certification guarantees a level of precision (-3/+2 seconds per day), craftsmanship, and long-term support that exceeds even traditional industry standards.

Patek’s decision to create its own seal was driven by a desire for independence and a holistic approach to quality. For collectors, a watch bearing the Patek Philippe Seal is not just a symbol of excellence — it’s a commitment to legacy and long-term performance.

Whether you're buying new or pre-owned, the Seal adds both confidence and value to your investment.
