Sell your luxury watch in Switzerland — with the right partner
Whether you're parting with a single piece or thinning a collection, getting the right return starts with choosing the right partner. Waltana handles the entire process for you (valuation, photography, marketing, and negotiation) so you can sell with confidence and without compromise.
How it works
Step 1
Send us your watch details. A few photographs and basic information about the reference and condition. No commitment required at this stage.
Step 2
Receive a market valuation. We assess current demand and provide a recommended asking price, openly and honestly.
Step 3
We sign a clear agreement. Commission, asking price, consignment period, all in writing before anything moves.
Step 4
We handle presentation and marketing. Professional photography, listing on waltana.ch and Chrono24 (Trusted Seller), and outreach to our international buyer network.
Step 5
You receive payment. Once the sale completes and payment clears, we transfer your proceeds promptly.
Watches we regularly handle
Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin, Jaeger-LeCoultre, IWC, Blancpain, Breguet, Panerai, Tudor, Omega, A. Lange & Söhne, Richard Mille, F.P. Journe, Cartier — and other fine timepieces on a case-by-case basis.
Why consignment rather than a direct sale?
Selling directly to a dealer is fast, but typically returns 20–35% below open market value. Consignment takes longer, but for watches with genuine collector demand, the difference is meaningful. We give you an honest view of both options during the valuation, so you can decide what suits you best.
Inherited a watch and not sure where to start? We can help you identify the reference, research its value, and advise without any obligation to sell.
