About the Villeret: Née au début des années 1980, la Villeret incarne l’expression la plus classique et intemporelle de Blancpain. Son style, apparu dès 1982, se distingue par son boîtier fin à la lunette « double pomme », ses proportions élégantes, ses chiffres romains et une esthétique volontairement sobre.En 1983, Blancpain marque l’histoire de l’horlogerie mécanique avec l’introduction de son calendrier complet à phases de lune, une complication qui deviendra l’une des signatures de la Maison et un élément emblématique de l’univers Villeret.Le nom « Villeret » est officiellement adopté pour cette ligne en 2003, en hommage au village jurassien où Jehan-Jacques Blancpain s’établit comme horloger en 1735.
